The French Martini is one of those classic three ingredient cocktails that everyone needs in their drink repertoire. It’s the perfect colour for romantic celebrations and a refreshing cocktail for all occasions. It’s called “French” as the original cocktail developed in the 1980s in New York used Chambord, a black raspberry liqueur from France. While it’s an excellent choice for this drink, you can find a number of other raspberry liqueurs that you could use in this cocktail. - 2 oz Virga Vodka
- ½ oz raspberry liqueur
- 1 ½ oz pineapple juice
Add the Virga, raspberry liqueur and pineapple juice to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a raspberry or a twist of lemon.
