Our Water

The best vodka begins with the best water.  Our Glanbùrn (Gaelic for “pure waters”), naturally alkaline artesian water, begins its journey as rainfall in the pristine Milford Haven watershed and travels through deep, ancient glacial structures to our distillery in Guysborough.  Glanbùrn contributes a smooth and soft texture to this unique vodka.

The finest spring wheat, grown in Nova Scotia’s bountiful Annapolis Valley, contributes to the smooth and creamy finish of our handcrafted vodka.  Virga is a unique expression of Nova Scotia’s distinct terroir and truly a local farm-to-bottle creation.
